ADVANCED ON-CAMERA ONGOING INTENSIVE PROGRAM FOR KIDS (AGES 10-13)
Margie Haber Studio Pre-requisite: Fundamental On-Camera Intensive Program for Kids This 12-week course builds off of the foundation laid in the Fundamental course, with more challenging "slices of life" and exercises. Deepening their imagination and furthering their ability to be present in the room and with the relationship in front of them, students begin the process of making the Haber Philosophy second nature. Their ability to understand the material and bring their imagination to specific genres increases, as well as their ability to understand how to deal with a number of more challenging obstacles, like talking to multiple people, complex physicality, and intensely dramatic situations. We cover the range of genres in both cold-read and call-back scenarios: Disney, 3-camera comedy, single camera comedy, procedural drama, and character driven drama. At the end of the session, this course include a Casting Director workshop for educational purposes. Admission to this class is by invitation only.
